Greetings - you knew it was coming
- some of the hyperlinks to the songs below have now been removed. We can't stop the
FBI from hunting our fans down for illegal downloads, now can we? Well? CAN WE?!
The Marshmallow V-2
Finally - I know.
I'm still not sure I'm satisfied with the recording effort. But it's still
better than the first one. This is The Marshmallow re-recorded as a result of
the finding from our quality control staff. You can actually hear the drums this
time. Any comments / suggestions on what else could have been improved are
welcomed. Everybody liked this one so it was important to make a second effort
to get it right. Hope you peeps like it. The original version is at the bottom
of this page if you're interested.
Let's Do It Again
Uploaded June 14, 2005. (About time - I know) This song was inspired by my
motorcycle and most of it was written last year. But a recent event called Rally
at Deals Gap attended by members of the FZ1 Owners Association inspired me to
finish it. It's a get together near The Tail of the Dragon in Fontana, NC. Since
I pushed myself to finish this song, there several places in it I would have
like to corrected. But then when have you known a WornOutShoes song to be
perfect anyway? Enjoy.
The
Waterfall
Uploaded November 15, 2004.
This is the second song (Life On Fire was the first) that came directly from a
cd made by the recorder. Much better quality (at least compared to
previous works). Everything also worked out well as far as timing, volume
levels of different instruments, etc.. Really proud of this song.
I'll let you decide for yourself what it's about. Shot some video footage
for this one which will be assembled at some point in the future. Hope you
enjoy it.
Life On
Fire
Uploaded April 16, 2004.
If misery is life's companion, then let hope be there also.
Me And My
Spaceship
Uploaded February 25, 2004. Hey. I'm looking at you. How do
you know I don't have one? We made a real production out of this one,
using all the tracks on my recorder.
Peace
On Earth
December 4, 2003: Wherever you are, whoever you are, whatever your
condition, for at least 4 minutes and 52 seconds may there be peace on your
earth.
Buttercup
Uploaded November 2, 2003. This just seemed like the perfect time of year
to release this song. Be my buttercup. :)
Forever
Near
Uploaded August 16, 2003. This song turned out well. I had the
tune and some of the words roaming around in my head for awhile. Just
remembering good old days and wishing they would never go away.
The
Listener
Uploaded May 18, 2003. Speaks for itself.
Life
Matters
Uploaded February 28, 2003. A new song with new equipment. Why cry
when you can frown? Why frown when you can smile? Why smile when you
can laugh? Why laugh when you can live? No matter how bad it is,
life matters.
Keep dealing with life's matters.
Tell
Me
Uploaded November 6, 2002 - Also please note the new Lyrics button above.
:) No one lied. Just feeling a little betrayed by life's
circumstances.
Two
Seconds Till Midnight
Uploaded September 6, 2002. Hope you enjoy this.
Don't

resemblance to actual events living or dead is purely coincidental.
Still Real
As promised, here
is our new song
uploaded 3-15-02. Would have been on here sooner but digital technology
really stinks sometimes.
Totally Worthless
Studio version with both Jack and David on guitar.
StringBroke and Blender Toe
11-17-04 Ok ok. Please don't blame me. They wanted me to
upload these. This is me and the guys having a (insert adjective here) few
moments last Saturday night. Thanks to David on guitar (til his string
broke) then various handtools, Jack on guitar, Jon on drums sometimes, on back
up vocals sometimes and lead vocals sometimes.
Please oh please just download The Waterfall....
Well you knew
it was coming. All of our songs are no longer posted here. These are
from the TwoWheeledContraption CD:

Go ride something.
The Marshmallow
We've been accused of being marshmallows.....and at this point, we don't
care. At least we're not doughnuts! :P
Again
Never give up.

Really, this song has words.
Disclaimer:
This music is for torturing purposes only. This music was written, composed,
performed, sung, played and done by WornOutShoes (as if you’ll find that hard
to believe). Any semblance to real musical ability, living or dead, is purely
coincidental. While we can’t state that no musical notes were harmed during
its production, we can say the musical notes did have a rather nice funeral.
This music is guaranteed for about seven seconds from the time of listening, after which
you may grow to hate us and curse the day we were born, wishing we could have
lived out our lives in some prison camp on the other side of the world. If your
download arrives damaged or has any defects of any kind, it was probably
recorded that way so forget about returning it for a refund. Copyright whatever
time you read this. Brace yourself.
We are about to take over the planet with the world's best music ever...................................
